when you get to know me,

You may find that:

Professionally, I am a UX designer and educator who is constantly seeking ways to better myself and my skills in a relentless pursuit of excellence.

Personally, I am bilingual and bi-cultural, which led to me having an ingrained curiosity about learning about people with different perspectives. When possible, I seek experiences and meet people who might expose me to new way of thinking and being. Knowing two cultures also taught me that people can be multi-faceted, and to hold space for all versions of myself. As an educator, I worked with kids aged 4-12, in different parts of Los Angeles for seven years. Teaching gave me the irreplaceable experience of meeting and serving all kinds of people and communities. I learned to listen to my students and their families in order to design the best solutions. Listening and problem solving are both skills that go hand-in-hand with what UX design is about: to empathize.

Thus, compassion, informed practices, authenticity are my core values.

In my free time, I love hiking, practicing muy thai, creating art, and finding the joy in everyday things.

My adventures and Hobbies

Over many years I have honed various hobbies and skills. Trying things is just a part of who I am!

Before Design was Art

I took two-dimensional art pretty seriously in high school and ended up studying it for my undergraduate studies in college! Now it’s more of a hobby but I still love drawing things I love, whether it’s people, musical groups, cats, and daily life.
